Does the design market need new brands? No. It requires new ideas that give form to the needs and dreams of the contemporary world. An evolution.
With this in mind, Milestone Design makes its debut today, a creator of household architecture. A new brand but with decades of experience and know-how, it is a product of the expertise of Milestone Contract, a company that has long specialized collaborating in the realization of the creative installations of great names in contemporary architecture, as Piero Lissoni Patricia Urquiola, Kengo Kuma, Marcio Kogan and GamFratesi.
The challenge of designing with this material, which is the core value of the project, has given life to Milestone Design, which intends to bring the charm and power of large-scale projects into the home, presenting them in the more intimate, human dimension of objects.
For its debut, in the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2016, Milestone Design has called as first collaboration mist-o, which firms a new concept of bathroom. The starting point of the project, and of the entire brand, is the material: a natural conglomerate of the latest generation, eco-compatible and high performing, which, usually used in sidings and casings for interiors and exteriors, is instead molded into very thin sheets to give shape to a series of modular furniture that can be combined in different, custom ways.
For the first time a brand is offering an entire domestic landscape.
